Description
[Sacred art]. Reunion of 18 images of piety, most in black and white, and in superb mechanical lace (canivet). Published by Bouasse-Lebel, Bertin, Valerins-Jouan, Durand, Langlumé, Boumard et fils, Tony, Turgis, Lejeune, etc. They depict the sources of Purity, Saint Cecilia, the Paschal Lamb, Jesus in the Garden of Olives, the Flight into Egypt, the Deposition from the Cross, First Communicants, Guardian Angels, Saint Genevieve, Saint John, the Last Supper and, most surprisingly, Louise d'Orléans, Queen of the Belgians. Second third of the 19th century. Very minor accidents.
