Officer's percussion pistol type 1833 (black powder operation), with varnished walnut frame, mirror polished fittings and barrel, the latter octagonal and rifled, cal. 44, marked "PEDERSOLI-ITALY" and numbered PD 14396. Flat-body lock and counterplate engraved with a floral motif, trigger guard and counterplate engraved with foliage, stecher trigger. Circa 1990. Category D weapon (free acquisition and possession).
