A rare sixteenth-century edition of *Peregrino*, one of the most successful sentimental romances of the Italian Renaissance. First published in 1508, the story of the troubled love affair between Peregrino and Ginevra enjoyed remarkable publishing success, giving rise to numerous Italian, French and Spanish editions throughout the sixteenth century.
