An incomplete study copy of the extremely rare second Aldine edition of the *Canzoniere*, following the celebrated 1501 edition edited by Pietro Bembo and among the last works printed during Aldus Manutius’s lifetime.
8vo (150 × 100 mm). Text printed in Aldine italic type. Version B, with quire y beginning Da poi che morte, followed by a blank leaf (lacking a1 with the title page, a8, quires g and h, and the final quires A–C containing the Aldine Appendix). 19th-century binding with leather spine (spine detached). Provenance: Gherardo Molza (bookplate on the endpapers). (1)
