SANNAZARO, Jacopo (1458–1530). *Opera omnia latina scripta, nuper edita*. Venice: Manuzio, heirs of Andrea Torresano, 1535.
A study copy of the first complete edition of Sannazaro’s Latin works, printed five years after the author’s death and following the partial editions published in Naples, Rome and Venice between 1526 and 1533. The volume brings together Sannazaro’s entire body of Latin work, including elegies, epigrams, eclogues and the celebrated poem *De partu Virginis*, regarded as one of the finest achievements of sixteenth-century Neo-Latin poetry.
