A post-incunabulum edition of Saint Thomas Aquinas’s political treatise, one of the fundamental texts of medieval political philosophy. In the *De regimine principum*, dedicated to the King of Cyprus, Aquinas sets out his conception of good government, discussing the duties of the sovereign, the relationship between political authority and natural law, and the pursuit of the common good as the ultimate aim of government.
