A miscellaneous collection of five volumes on history, economics, geography and philosophy, including the first edition of Carlo Antonio Broggia’s seminal economic treatise, regarded as one of the most significant 18th-century Italian contributions to the theory of taxation and public finance. Broggia systematically examines taxation, money and the economic administration of the State, advocating principles of taxation based on equity and ability to pay.
