Description
[JUDAICA] Sarajevo HAGGADAH Sarajevo. National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 1988. In-8°. Rhodoid binding, imitating leather. Numerous colour reproductions. Facsimile of Eugen Werber’s Haggadah. Transcribed and illustrated in Aragon, circa 1320–1335. The manuscript comprises 142 folios containing the text of the Haggadah, read during Passover. The first 40 folios of the volume feature 69 miniatures depicting scenes from the Torah. The remainder of the book, which contains the liturgical text, features illuminated words but no illustrations.
