Edited by a Society of Writers from the Annales politiques et littéraires. Nos. 1–14 (15 April – November 1900) Paris, Les Annales, published by Baschet. 14 instalments (complete set), each 4-page booklet on paper of various colours (30.5 x 22.4 cm), loose-leaf, with text in old-style calligraphy and woodcut illustrations. Initial letters and vignettes enhanced with colour. No. 5, “L’affaire de la Tour de Nesle” (on bright green paper) is entirely illustrated by Robida. An 8 cm tear, with no loss of text, at the spine. Contains two extracts from Jules Verne’s “Paris”, published in 1869 in *Le Diable à Paris*. This fine publication was produced as part of the reconstruction of old Paris along the Seine, to mark the 1900 World’s Fair.
