Description
CAERIX Antimagnetic pilot's chronograph, circa 1940. Gentleman's watch, round case in 18K 750 thousandths gold (thin clipped back cover with gilt metal dust cover), medium size. Cream patina dial with 2 circled counters, signed Caerix at 12 o'clock and countersigned anti-magnetic 17 jewels at 6 o'clock. Square push-pieces, horn handles, spear-shaped hands and arrow and circular-grained hour-markers, gilded Arabic numerals. Date scale on the dial flange. Black leather strap (very damaged) with gold buckle. Movement: hand-wound mechanical calibre Diameter: 32 mm Condition: as is, in need of restoration Gross weight: 35.7 g
