Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, a tunic from the "poem-dresses" series in white linen printed on the theme of Paradise lost by the English author John Milton. A black graphic print on white linen of the cover of the original edition dated 1667 reading "Paradise lost a poem written in ten books by John Milton". Straight-cut tunic with side slits and kimono sleeves fastened at the shoulders with red ribbons. White satin label with black graphics mentioning JC de Castelbajac, size 40. 2000-2010. Good condition. A similar example of this tunic is on display at the Musée des Abattoirs in Toulouse, in the carousel of "robe-poèmes" in the "Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, l'imagination au pouvoir" exhibition.
