Beautiful earthenware plate with a contoured rim decorated in polychrome with a central mythological design in a medallion representing a Roman warrior on horseback chasing a lion, garlands of flowers on the wing.
The reverse bears the mark of Olerys et Laugier and the probable initials of the painter Gaspard Solomé.
