A pair of covered baluster-shaped porcelain vases decorated in the Imari palette with hawks hunting in landscapes with trees in blossom against a background of naturalistic motifs. The handles of the lids depicting Fô dogs are enamelled white and later enhanced with gilding.
Late 17th century, circa 1680 (one lid damaged, some damage to the animal on the other)
