A pair of goose-shaped decanters made of blown, fluted glass, with an English silver and glass mount. The mount is in 925/1000 sterling silver: hallmarked with a lion passant and a marine anchor on an elongated scroll (Birmingham 1867–1918), with a date letter in lower-case Gothic ‘m’ on a rectangular scroll (1896). Silversmith’s mark (CS*FS): Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings (active 1869–1899). Dated to the second half of the 19th century.
