Saint Seiya - Knights of the Zodiac (聖闘士星矢) Albior Hand-painted celluloid sheet used in the production of the Saint Seiya anime, based on the work of Masami Kurumada (車田 正美). Executed in ink and gouache on an original gouache background. Produced by Toei Animation Asgard Arc, 1988, Japan H25 L27 cm It is worth noting that only Masami Kurumada is credited — without Shingo Araki —: in some productions from the Asgard arc, Shingo Araki’s art supervision was less formally credited in internal documents, which may indicate that this piece was produced for an episode in the second half of the arc (directed by Kikuchi, episodes 74–114).
