Tetsujin 28-gō (鉄人28号) Tetsujin 28 Pencil and coloured pencil artwork created for the anime series based on Mitsuteru Yokoyama’s (横山 光輝) manga. Executed in ink and gouache. Produced by TMS 1980–1981, Japan H25 L28 cm The giant robot remotely controlled by a child is both the first and the most enduring of the armour archetypes in Japanese animation.
