Olive and Tom – Captain Tsubasa (キャプテン翼) Clifford Yuma Hand-painted celluloid sheet used in the production of the anime Olive and Tom, based on the work of Yōichi Takahashi (高橋 陽一). Executed in ink and gouache. Produced by Tsuchida Production and Studio Pierrot 1983–1986, Japan H23 L27 cm Clifford Yuma is one of Olivier Atton’s rivals — a player on the American team, representing the international rivalry that underpins the later story arcs of the series. In *Olive and Tom*, the opponents have just as much depth as the protagonist — their techniques, personal histories and playing styles are developed with the same care as Olivier’s.
