Push-button at 2 o’clock to reset the chronograph to zero, and push-button at 9 o’clock to stop the seconds hand when held down. Dial: Black. Railway-track minute track. Arabic numeral hour markers. Spiral tachymeter scale in the centre. Baton hands. Movement: Mechanical 822. Strap: Leather with pin buckle, unsigned. Diameter: 36mm. Lug-to-lug width: 18mm Watch box Helvétia watch, featuring the Calibre 822 registered in 1940, and described as ‘with independent central seconds’ according to the original advertisement. Superb black snail-pattern dial. Original transparent case back, which suggests that this watch was intended for demonstration purposes by the brand’s sales representatives.
