Set of eight tobacco jars. Late 19th-century stoneware Tobacco jar decorated with a windmill set in a woodland scene against a mottled background imitating moss. The lid knob is a long-haired dog, lying down with its head raised. No mark. Lid not original. H 15.5 cm Single-colour, mottled stoneware tobacco jar designed to imitate woodland moss. The lid knob is a curved tree branch. Marked X. Made by Labrut in Roanne. H 18.5 cm A brownish tobacco jar with a rather coarse decoration of straw, flowers with their leaves and a tassel. Beauvais stoneware No mark. Chips and firing defects. H 14 cm Small grey tobacco jar with a decoration of incised vertical grooves, bordered at the top and bottom of the body by two circular rows of beads. Stoneware, circa 1900–1914 - Digoin - Marked 2. H 12cm Brown-painted glazed stoneware tobacco pot depicting a large tree trunk covered in rough bark with a garland of oak leaves and acorns. Late 19th–early 20th century – Digoin – Marked beneath the lid in a cartouche: 2Corneau Myennes and beneath the pot the number 1. Good condition. H 14cm A single-colour brown stoneware pot depicting a tree trunk with its knots and branch junctions. Glazed stoneware, late 19th century – France – No mark. Missing part of the rim, damage and chips. H 12.5cm Cylindrical tobacco pot, decorated on a mottled background with a running stag and stylised flowers. Glazed stoneware, late 19th century – Beauvais – No mark. H 17.5 cm
