The interior is lined with leather SOUTH AMERICA – NEW MEXICO - 18th century (between 1770 and 1820) Height: 36 cm - Width: 56 cm - Depth: 42 cm (signs of wear and missing sections) Bibliography: * These chests from New Mexico were made using layered leather, the craftsmanship and decorative inspiration for which came from the Aztec peoples of Mexico.
