John Lewis BROWN (1829–1890), set of 4 etchings: - ‘Soldiers on Horseback’, signed and dated 1867 in the bottom right-hand corner of the plate (dim. 27.5 × 36 cm). - “Soldier on Horseback”, signed on the plate in the bottom left-hand corner (dim. 36 x 27.5 cm). - “Man on Horseback”, unsigned on the plate, after Brown, with a dedication and signature in graphite in the bottom right-hand margin (dim 29x20 cm). - “The Workers”, an etching monogrammed and dated 1874 in the top right-hand corner of the plate (sheet dim 31x23.5 cm).
