[RELIGIOSA] Set of 10 17th–18th-century etchings and miscellaneous items, comprising:
- Jean-Baptiste de Champagne (1631–1681), “S. Ambrosius Mesiolanensis Episcopus” (Saint Ambrose, Bishop of Milan), engraved by Gérard Edelinck (Antwerp 1640 – Paris 1707), a French engraver of Flemish origin (dimensions 35 x 26.5 cm);
- “Insidÿs dauida petit rex Saulus et ipsum, Dextra dei mira pro bonitate tegit” (King Saul seeks to uncover David’s secret and to protect himself; the right hand of God protects him with marvellous goodness);
- After Raphael (1483–1520), engraved by Nicolas Chaperon (1612–1656), ‘God created heaven and earth’ and ‘St Luke painting the Virgin’;
