SPECTACULAR VASE in majolica-style glazed earthenware, with two handles in the form of curling foliage surmounted by putti and supported by mascarons, the body decorated in reserve with historical scenes on a blue Renaissance-style background; on one side, an antique-style scene of a camel trade negotiation; on the other, a romantic scene in the 18th-century style featuring a card game and soap bubbles; a substantial pedestal vase with a fluted spherical body supported by a cascade featuring three dolphins.
