Description
IMPORTANT TWO-PART ‘COLLECTOR’S’ SIDEBOARD, with a curved front in mahogany and flamed mahogany veneer, oak back panels, the upper section opening via two moulded, panelled doors decorated with medallions featuring an ‘empereur’ profile, intertwined with olive branches in the upper section and a neoclassical vase on a console in the lower section, revealing compartments, shelves and five drawers in three rows; the lower section comprising three rows of wide drawers. Ornamentation in gilded bronze, including lock plates, pull handles and lamp bases decorated with medallions and Neoclassical vases, as well as finials and feet decorated with foliage motifs; the cornice in the shape of a gendarme’s cap, with five corbels linked by carved olive branches.
