Description
Neo-Gothic silver (950) and gilt MONSTRANCE, resting on a four-lobed base decorated with two representations of the Virgin and the Lamb and the Salvator Mundi. The base is surmounted by a ferrule evoking a crown formed of acanthus leaves and openwork clasps. The squared shaft with acanthus leaves is separated by a knot holding pomegranates. The upper part with a radiating decoration enclosing a glazed lunette and set in a four-lobed medallion surmounted by a stylised cross.
