Set comprising: - A silver-plated copper smoker’s set comprising a tray, four tobacco pots (one of which has a lid) and an ashtray. The engraved decoration depicts romantic scenes based on works by Pio RICCI (1850–1919) and Franz Xaver SIMM (1853–1919), executed by the engraver B. WICKER. Each piece features friezes on the sides comprising interlacing patterns, heart motifs, ovals and water leaves. Dimensions of the tray: 35 x 21 cm. Heights and diameters of the boxes: 4.5 x 4.5 cm, 6 x 5.5 cm and 11 x 8.5 cm. - Two metal bowls. Indented hallmark ‘lao tian bao’ 老天寳, made during the Republic of China period (1911–1949). Height: 9.5 cm. - Two metal cockerel-shaped boxes with engraved floral and bamboo decoration. Presented in a purple velvet case. Height: 7.5 cm. Diameter: 4.5 cm.
