Model featuring a design of shells and scrolls on an amati background, enhanced with gold-tinted varnish, in the Rocaille style. Marked BG (?). Pieces signed on the underside. Set comprising a tea kettle on a warmer, a coffee pot, a jug, a cream jug and a sugar bowl, on a tray. Dimensions of the tray: 60x41 cm. Also included: - A silver tea strainer decorated with a frieze of flowers and foliage in the upper section. Traces of a head of Minerva and a maker’s mark (D?). Weight: 15.8 g. - 3 metal serving pieces decorated with a frieze of pearls at the top, comprising a jug, a sugar bowl and a cream jug.
