The Hamilton Ventura, launched in 1957, is an iconic watch known for being the world's first battery-powered electric watch. Its defining feature is its asymmetrical, shield-shaped case design, the work of industrial designer Richard Arbib, which made it a symbol of futurism. It became legendary when Elvis Presley wore it in the 1961 film Blue Hawaii, cementing its place in pop culture. Today, the Ventura is a mainstay of the Hamilton collection, reissued in quartz and automatic versions, as in this case, while maintaining its bold appeal. It is also famous for being the watch worn by the agents in the Men in Black film series.
