An Indian Koran, 1868-1869
A single volume (27 x 18 cm). Printed in Calcutta. Executed in elegant rounded cursive script. Complete with chromolithographic covers bound to the front and back, decorative paste-downs. A dedication in ink in English on the last flyleaf (dated June 1949, Kadura).
Bound in contemporary sheepskin with flap, spine ribbed. Slightly scuffed at edges. Good condition.
