The Bible (Աստուածաշունչ) Amsterdam, Saint-Etchmiadzine-et-Saint-Serge-le-Guerrier printing house, by Oskan of Yerevan (Ոսկան Երեւանցի), 1666. In-4°. 628 + 718 pages (the first 16 pages missing and replaced by manuscript pages). Our copy stops at page 718 and does not contain the Prayer of Manasseh or the Book of Ezra IV or the indexes found on pages 719 to 834. Numerous engravings with the initials of the engraver Christofell van Sichem (CVS). Titles, page headings, inscriptions and decorations. A fine copy despite the missing first pages. Beautiful contemporary stamped leather binding. This is the very first Bible printed in classical Armenian according to the translation of the Armenian Fathers.
