Venice, impr. by Gaspar son of khodja Sarhat of New Djulfa and the priest Tadeos Hamazaspian of Yerevan, 1686-1688.
Volume containing pages 141-436 (of 997).
Small folio. Title page, numerous ornamental woodcuts in the text and margins. One full-page engraving (Crucifixion) on page 354.
Margins trimmed affecting the ornaments. Worm holes on a few pages. Beautiful leather binding with gilding and central medallions (Virgin and Child and Crucifixion), spine ribbed and decorated (upper and lower headpieces damaged), clasps missing.
A very fine work financed by the wealthy Sceriman (Shahrimani) family of New Djulfa in Persia, to which Gaspar son of Sarhat belonged.
