This tarpaulin is the result of a collaboration between the artist and the Brochier textile company in Lyon in the late 1970s and early 1980s. It belongs to a series that was hung in Lyon, rue de la République, on the initiative of André Mure (1922-2007), the city's deputy for cultural affairs between 1977 and 1989.
