Remington – 1888 Revolver Manufactured c. 1888–90 – Serial number 7X – Calibre 44 CF A transitional model between the 1875 and 1890 versions, it incorporates parts from both models as well as its own distinctive features. The barrel is marked ‘E.Remmington..’ in accordance with this model. The nickel plating is original and the barrel markings remain clearly visible. The mechanism is in working order with minimal clearance between the barrel and the cylinder. The wooden grips, typical of this model, are in very good condition. A rare model. Satin-finish grey barrel, free from damage with fine rifling – 7/10 The firearm is supplied with its St Etienne certificate classifying it as Category D
