Colt – Single Action Army Manufactured in 1884 – Serial number 102XXX – Calibre 44-40 Despite its ‘original’ appearance, this revolver has remained in its original, unaltered condition. The markings are authentic, including the ‘44’ marking under the barrel, which is consistent with the earliest production runs of this model; the other markings are also authentic. The mechanism remains in excellent condition, with all four Colt hammer notches showing no play and a hair’s breadth of play on the cylinder. The grip panels are original, free from damage and show some wear. A very fine barrel, still shiny, with beautiful rifling and minor signs of wear – 8/10 The firearm is supplied with its St Etienne certificate classifying it as Category D
