Art Deco piece, c. 1930
Palm wood box.
Rectangular box made of wood and palm wood veneer; the lid features a geometric design created using a four-part frieze. The sides are finished in a dark veneer with a pronounced grain.
The lid reveals a mirror on the reverse and an interior veneered in light wood. Hinges and compasses in gilded metal.
Circa 1930.
Dimensions: approx. 31 × 24 × 10 cm.
Condition: wear, scratches and signs of use; mirror showing some damage; felt under the base partially detached.
