AUGIS 18K gold (750/1000) medallion with synthetic diamonds and rubies, featuring the inscription ‘More than yesterday – more than tomorrow’ within a heart motif. Dimensions: approx. 1.5 cm. Gross weight: 1.34 g The Médaille d’Amour was created in 1907 in the workshops of Maison A. Augis in Lyon. Alphonse Augis, the founder’s grandson, had the idea of engraving verses from a famous poem by Rosemonde Gérard entitled ‘Les Vieux’, written in 1889 as a tribute to her husband, Edmond Rostand.
