AUGIS 18K yellow gold (750/1000) medal + ‘Yesterday – Tomorrow’ calibrated diamonds and rubies Eagle’s head hallmark. Dimensions: approx. 2.3 cm. Gross weight: 6.5 g The ‘Médaille d’Amour’ was created in 1907 in the workshops of Maison A. Augis in Lyon. Alphonse Augis, the founder’s grandson, had the idea of engraving verses from a famous poem by Rosemonde Gérard entitled ‘Les Vieux’, written in 1889 as a tribute to her husband, Edmond Rostand.
