Slightly blunderbuss octagonal barrel, gilt inlaid signature 'FNI PAR GOSSET A PARIS' on the ribbed body and monogram "FR".
Engraved percussion lock (signature). Carved walnut with engraved iron support.
Silver medusa head cap.
Length 40 cm.
Louis Marin Gosset worked in Paris between 1822 - 1840, he was assistant to Nicolas Boutet in Versailles.
