Brass mounting. Three-armed hilt, stamped "51321", stamped "D" and "R".
Straight blade with hollow sides, length 87 cm, engraved on the back "Mre d'Armes de Chât janvier 1886 = Cavrie légère Mle 1882".
Leather tie. Scabbard with one ring of bélière marked en suite.
