Silver bomb stamped "de Clerval" on the back.
Crest with gadroons, marmoset, chinstrap with scales lined with rubbed velvet, gilded brass snap ring. Long mane with braid, possibly redone in the past. Red horsehair marmoset headpiece.
Inner leather headpiece replaced.
Basane on the nape of the neck (that of the visor is missing).
