Description
Germany / Prussia - ZAHLMEISTER, PAYING OFFICER, model 1895. Black patent leather shell (pierced at the plate, probably period), visor band and all trim in white metal. Reservist badge. Officer's roundels, serrated. Chinstraps composed of silver-plated copper scales alternately cut with two or three festoons. The inside of the headdress consists of a fine leather band and two pieces of silk covering the entire headdress. Good to very good condition.
