A set of six Louis XV-era armchairs with flat-backed barrels. They are made of walnut and beech, previously painted; the ‘à la reine’ backs, adorned with small flowers and petals, feature cuffed armrests supported by sinuous consoles. The scalloped moulding is concave and rests on a curved base. A Louis XV-era piece. NB: Fragile joints; small reinforcing brackets. The small intermediate cross-bars of the moulding between the front and rear cross-bars are missing. H. 93.5 – D. 56 – W. 64 cm.
