Louis XVI-style planter in satinwood and satinwood veneer. It is octagonal in shape, featuring small panels with projecting shelves and fluted, rudentated uprights decorated with triglyphs. It rests on a square, sheathed base adorned with small square feet. A piece from the Neoclassical period, probably made upon the return of emigrants during the French Restoration. NB: The internal metal lining is damaged. Sold as is. H. 64.5 – W. 33 – D. 33 cm.
