Description
Period mahogany and mahogany-veneered cylindrical desk. Restored. It is a four-sided piece, featuring three storage compartments in the upper section, covered in havana-coloured leather with a small iron-stamped emblem. It opens via a cylindrical mechanism concealing a small cabinet with two drawers and a wide pull-out fitted with havana-coloured leather. The lower section opens via four drawers, the right-hand one concealing two front panels. The cabinet stands on a square, sheathed base adorned with brass feet. The top is of beige small-grained granite. Restoration period. NB: Minor repairs to the veneer. In good overall condition. Barrel-type locks. H. 125.5 – D. 72.5 – W. 122 cm.
