Description
A small mahogany sideboard from the late Louis XVI period. Rectangular in shape, it features brass mouldings and has two drawers at the front. It is inlaid with strips of blackened wood and rests on a fluted turned base joined by a cross-leg panel. The whole piece rests on a small tapered turned base adorned with brass rings and gilded feet. White marble top surrounded by a brass moulding. Parisian work from the Louis XVI period. NB. Bears a J. LAPIE mark and a Jurande hallmark. In good overall condition. H. 89.5 – D. 40 – W. 115 cm.
