18th-century oak floor clock. The upper section features a ‘gendarme’s cap’ design and houses a movement signed at the top ‘François Marchand, Dinant’. The central door is divided into two panels; the piece is supported by a plinth with bevelled edges. 18th-century Belgian work. NB. Some missing sections and damage to the mouldings. Movement requires servicing. H. 246.5 – D. 29.5 – W. 47 cm.
