Géo HAM (1900–1972). Gouache. “1914 ACF Grand Prix – the great Franco-German duel”. Signed lower right. 20 x 79 cm. In his composition, Géo Ham brings together two of the main protagonists of this epic race: the Frenchman Georges Boillot (Peugeot EX5), who was forced to retire, and Christian Lautenschlager (Benz Grand Prix No. 28), the eventual winner of the race (approximately 750 km).
