GUSTAVE SANDOZ Pocket watch with a finely chased and openwork silver (800 parts per thousand) chain, marked ‘RV’ within a scrollwork border. The dust cover is signed ‘Gustave Sandoz, watchmaker to the Navy at the Palais Royal’. The white enamelled dial features a railway-track minute track and painted Roman numerals.
