Description
An 18-carat yellow gold (750) lapel watch, late 19th century. Featuring a watch pin in silver (800 parts per thousand) and 18-carat yellow gold (750 parts per thousand), forming fleur-de-lis motifs set with brilliant-cut diamonds and pearls. The guilloché-decorated case back is enhanced with blue enamel depicting a bouquet of flowers surrounded by small pearls (enamel missing in places; hinge requires replacement). The dust cover is signed ‘JF. Bautte’ in Geneva and numbered 70551.
Mechanical hand-wound movement with a cylinder escapement, complete with key (does not run).
