A small 18-carat yellow gold (750) pocket watch; the case back and bezel are enamelled in green and decorated with the letter ‘A’ surmounted by a crown, set with rose-cut diamonds. The dust cover is in yellow gold, signed ‘Gustave Sandoz, 10 rue Royal, Paris’ and numbered 8690. The white enamelled dial features a railway-track minute track and painted Arabic numerals, with ornate hands (one of which is broken).
